Ok.. so this has got to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. Granny’s birthday has been held there 2 years running.
We had a private room with 3 tables and the whole clan (well, almost!) there.
The night started off with the ’shou tou’.. or longetivity buns.

The mini ones were cute, whilst the big one… hmmm.. we were all wondering how in the world to eat it, but it was just a shell, inside, were MORE little ones.
Ok.. next was soup and the rest followed but these 3 were my favourite for the night…

Gosh, the skin on this one was HEAVENLY!! Crispy, not fatty and melt-in-your-mouth goodness.

Scallop and egg-white with truffle oil.. hmmmm.. the oil…
It has a rather distinct taste and J didn’t like it, so I got to each his share. YAY!!

This, you must think, is quite a unique dish in a Chinese restaurant – lamb chop.
But it was good nonetheless – cooked just nice so the meat is still tender.
All in all, a great night to celebrate the life of a grand dame.

And the finale of the night.. the clan picture.
