Just Me

Till the 4th of August at least. We’re heading off to Italy tomorrow for 8 days (a record longest vacation for us as a family! ) and we’re really looking forward to it. We’ll be covering Rome, Siena, Florence, Venice and Milan. So hold on tight and I’ll post updates and pictures when we get back.

One layout to share for today…

This is a layout about Jon and I going on the Bionicle Power Builder ride at Legoland.

Journalling:
Jon is one who’s never really big on rides but he sportingly agreed to go on the Bionicle ride. And I being the thrill-seeker chose the most thrilling and exciting option. Here’s a picture of us before the ride. To my surprise, Jon enjoyed it too! It was a blast . Who says we’re too old for FUN?!?

Journalling:
Salzburg was a beautiful city. The scenery was picturesque but of course, the highlight for us was going on the Sound of Music tour. It’s been one of my fav movies since I was young and the kids got to watch it recently and they love it too. How awesome was it to see some of the movie locations in real life!

This second layout is based on Triple the Sketch’s CHA Sketch challenge here and Color Story’s Challenge here. I had fun doing this simple and clean design.

Journalling:
Our second stop in Austria was its capital, Vienna. We had a few hours to explore the city, enough to see the grandeur of many of its places and buildings.. among them palaces of past royalties. And to top it off, we had our first Japanese meal in 3 months!!
