I used the flower image stamped on ledger paper and punched out with a circle punch. I love them as accents. The supplies for this layout are from Noel Mignon’s Lovely Day kit.

I was made aware recently that there is actually an Earth Day commemorated each year on April 22. So this year, to join in the celebration, I made a little project using old product packaging.

This box was used to contain chipboard shapes and it was a cute sized-box for some recipe cards I had been collecting at supermarkets. For altering the box, I also used bits of scraps from Noel Mignon’s Lovely Day kit.

And here is the final box…

Welcome to another week of Hip Hop and our focus this week is “Mothers”.

I created this really simple layout but I think the picture really says it all…

The stamp used in a faint blue ink is the distressed dots stamp. And the quote says “A mother is one who can take the places of all others, but whose place no else can take.” Love that quote!

This layout was inspired by a sketch over at Inspired Blueprints. Do check it out coz there are 8 new sketches released this month.

I used Tattered Angels’ Glimmer Mists to create the background.

I stamped the journalling block image, outlined it with a black pen before cutting it out.

This second layout is a guest layout for Noel Mignon using their Lovely Day kit. I’m having so much fun with the yummy papers and fun stuff in this kit.

The “I Love You” sentiment is from the April KOM.

I was blessed to be picked as a Guest Designer for Jillibean Soup a few weeks back. And yesterday I received lots of yummy beans…

The guest designers got to pick what they wanted to work with and I picked the Minestrone collection. Gorgeous, bright, bold colors. LOVE IT!! My spot isn’t gonna be up till August 1 but… I couldn’t wait to dig into the yummy stash. Here’s a little sneak.

Some fun stuff coming my way… got a spot as ‘product tester‘. Thank you GCD. YAY!

In other news, I’ve been down with a nasty neck and shoulder ache, haven’t scrapped much or anything else in fact because of that but I’ll be back soon. Thank you for all the concern. Have a great week all!

Helloooo!! Sorry for the lack of blog updates, I’ve been busy and slightly under the weather as well. But things have been good and J and myself are working through some major decisions this week… it’s exciting but can’t share for now.

But I do want to share a little project I did for Made With Love, my LSS. I haven’t done a mini album in some time so I really enjoyed putting this together.

This was a Sizzix project so I used quite a number of die-cuts in this album. The cover has the a heart die cut adorned with flowers. I used felt and cloth to embellish the die-cut.

I love these Maya Road pins… they’re a RAK from Lia. Thanks girl!

The theme of this album is “Love Is”. And I’ve taken the verses from 1 Cor 13:4-8 and incorporated them into the whole album.

There will be more scrapping done tonight and this weekend because of some upcoming deadlines. Will share soon! Have a great weekend everyone and I appreciate you coming by! {hugs}
