Another layout for the GotSketch102 class. This time it’s for sketch #5. Way easier for me coz it’s a one-page layout. And I finally got down to using some older supplies I’ve had for some time now.

Oh and did you realise the stitching?? Heehee.. I just got myself a new sewing machine last week for an amazingly low price of 99CHF (or about US$88/S$125). It was on 50% sale.
How cool is that?!?!? I’ve had fun playing.
Supplies:
Papers – October Afternoon, Making Memories, Momento
Alphas – American Crafts, Jenni Bowlin, Making Memories
Stickers & ribbons – Making Memories
Stamp – Apple Blossom Studio
Are you having a good week so far? It’s Wednesday, at least we’re half-way through! LOL!!

in a design funk, of late. I haven’t scrapped much these past 2 weeks and I need to get out of it pronto! Maybe some new supplies (and a surprise) should do the trick. So anyway, I made myself scrap quite a bit the night before and yesterday and here’s what I did…
For GotSketch 102’s Sketch 4…. a double page, which I haven’t done in eons.

That’s an amazing 7 photos on one layout!! And the largest being a 5×7″ picture.
I used Making Memories’ Noteworthy collection which I’ve had lying around for the longest time. And some embellishments from Scenic Route.
The 2nd layout, I did for fun.. not for any particular assignment and I had fun! Need to do more of these!

There’s Pink Paislee papers, American Crafts alphas and stamps from Unity Stamp Co. here. I love the mish-mash of stuff on this. Wonder if it looks kinda messy?
And oooh, for the surprise (which I CAN’T WAIT to arrive!) …say hello to Diana!! She should be here within a few days. Yahooo!!!

I just received my Label Tulip kits on Thursday (one was free, woohoo!!) and I couldn’t wait to start scrapping. Lots of yummy goodness in the kits. Here’s one simple one, also for Prima’s Build-a-Page September challenge…

Journalling:
You really are our precious darling. Yes, we’ve had our trying times with you. But all in all, we cannot imagine how our lives would be – without you!!
Supplies:
Paper – Jenni Bowlin, Dream Street, Bazzill
Alphas – American Crafts
Embellishements – Jenni Bowlin, Prima, Scenic Route, Luxe
Rub-ons – Pink Paislee
Thanks for coming by and I hope everyone is having a great weekend!!

This layout is for Becky Fleck’s Page Maps Sketch Challenge…

I wanted to create something that would remind us, as a family, of what is really means to be happy. This time in Switzerland has given us the opportunity to stop and re-think many things relating to how we live our lives. Here’s the journalling on the layout:
Happy-ness is not about living the good life – driving fast cars or living in beautiful homes. It’s really about living in the everyday and enjoying what God has already blessed us with. I pray that we, as a family, will always remember what it means to be truly happy.
Supplies:
Paper – Cosmo Cricket, Daisy D’s, Basic Grey
Stamps – Unity Stamp, Basic Grey
Embellishments – Scrapworks Magpie, MM 5th Avenue, buttons
Alphas – Heidi Swapp, American Crafts

I cracked up when B took these photos of J3 and I knew I wanted them for scrapping.
Really looks like the Cat in the Hat and he’s the cutest patootie ever!! I miss him soooo much!!

This layout is inspired by this week’s sketch over at Pencil Lines. It’s a great sketch – so easy to use. I used a mix of products here and wanted the layout to be fun and colorful. Thanks for looking!
