I was asked by lovely Nicole to guest design for Mission To Create. I love the concept behind the challenges… you need to go over and check it out!!
Here is the layout I created… I used Unity Stamp Co.’s Scrapbook/Collage Collection {… etcetera } for this layout, it fit the theme perfectly.

One of my favourite manufacturers that came out of CHA Winter this year inĀ February is JILLIBEAN SOUP.
Their debut lines consisted of evergreen krafts mixed with rich hues… I fell in love with them at first sight.
So when the opportunity came to apply for a design spot on their team, I had to give it a shot. I was disappointed I didn’t make the team but still very thankful to be given a chance to guest design for Jillibean.
I received their yummy products some time back and my layouts have finally been showcased on their blog.
Here are the layouts I created…







The last layout is inspired by sketch #25 over at InspiredĀ Blueprints.
As you can see, I had a blast working with these yummies. THANK YOU Jillibean Soup for this opportunity!

I was made aware recently that there is actually an Earth Day commemorated each year on April 22. So this year, to join in the celebration, I made a little project using old product packaging.

This box was used to contain chipboard shapes and it was a cute sized-box for some recipe cards I had been collecting at supermarkets. For altering the box, I also used bits of scraps from Noel Mignon’s Lovely Day kit.

And here is the final box…

I was blessed to be picked as a Guest Designer for Jillibean Soup a few weeks back. And yesterday I received lots of yummy beans…

The guest designers got to pick what they wanted to work with and I picked the Minestrone collection. Gorgeous, bright, bold colors. LOVE IT!! My spot isn’t gonna be up till August 1 but… I couldn’t wait to dig into the yummy stash. Here’s a little sneak.

In other news, I’ve been down with a nasty neck and shoulder ache, haven’t scrapped much or anything else in fact because of that but I’ll be back soon. Thank you for all the concern.

Isn’t it so cool that today Unity is having a massive blog hop today? For once, the blog hop will include all our friends and customers as well as the design team, and I heard Angela as well.

Today was one of those days. This arrived early in the morning…



YAY!! It was my Nov guest DT kit from Gauche Alchemy. Amy, the owner, is the sweetest and sent me both the main kit as well as the add-on. And with all the new goodies, who could resist? So I sat down and scrapped and scrapped. And about 6 hours later, I had completed 3 layouts, 1 project and a card.
Here are some sneaks…



The kits are chock full of goodies, lots of vintage hard-to-finds. If you like unusual ephemera in your kits, then Gauche Alchemy is the place to go.

I was thrilled to be asked by the lovely Janet of Color Combos Galore to guest design this week. I was asked to pick 2 colors and Janet gave me a selection of colors for the other 2. I picked dark orange and tan and this was the color combo we eventually chose…

I had LOTS of fun with this challenge, coz it WAS a challenge! LOL! These are not colors I’d normally use, but I chose them because of that.
