Welcome to another week of Hip Hop and our focus this week is “Mothers”.
I created this really simple layout but I think the picture really says it all…
The stamp used in a faint blue ink is the distressed dots stamp. And the quote says “A mother is one who can take the places of all others, but whose place no else can take.” Love that quote!
My second layout is another simple one…
The little scroll stamp is from April’s KOM which you can still sign up for if you haven’t already. It’s already shipping now!

This is a picture of H on the day of her kindergarten concert. How very proud and excited we were to see her perform on stage.

Isn’t this set just SIMPLY ADORABLE?? I LOVE IT!! I can already see these images on many more layouts to come.

A fall layout that is. This one is for a crop challenge over at Noel Mignon. It’s still not to late to join in, the online crop runs till this weekend and you have till Saturday to complete the challenges.

I was thrilled to be asked by the lovely Janet of Color Combos Galore to guest design this week. I was asked to pick 2 colors and Janet gave me a selection of colors for the other 2. I picked dark orange and tan and this was the color combo we eventually chose…

is a rainy day here. Rather dark and gloomy. And the weather’s gonna get colder towards the end of this week with temperatures going below zero. But there was something that brightened my day, this…
YES!! I am so excited to be part of the Riff Raff team from next month onwards. I gasped when I saw the number of designs and sheer size of some of Riff Raff’s laser-cut chipboard. I’m SURE they’re gonna be loads of fun to play with. THANK YOU Kara and Ben for this awesome opportunity!
